The design of the Kilin armchair, evident of Sergio Rodrigues signature forms and materials, consists of a wood frame and leather sling slipcover that are assembled by dowels and pins. With its name derived from an abbreviated version of Rodrigues tender nickname for his wife, esquilinho (or small squirrel), the Kilin is a straightforward and versatile armchair that quickly became a Brazilian design classic and bears a little of Rodrigues personal history within it.
